Understanding the Two Types of One-Time Passwords for Enhanced Cyber Security

In the realm of cyber security, one-time passwords (OTPs) play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information from cyber threats. When it comes to OTPs, there are primarily two different types that can be created to ensure secure authentication processes.

The first type of one-time password is Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP). TOTP is generated based on the current time and a shared secret key between the server and the user.
