How to View Password of Saved WiFi Networks

Have you ever wanted to view the password of a saved WiFi network on your device?

It can be quite frustrating when you need to connect a new device to a WiFi network that you previously saved the password for but can't recall. Luckily, there are ways to retrieve this information on different devices.

For Windows Devices:

1. Open the Control Panel and navigate to Network and Sharing Center.

2. Click on the WiFi network you're connected to under 'View your active networks'.

3. Click on 'Wireless Properties' and go to the Security tab.

4. Check the box that says 'Show characters' to reveal the saved WiFi password.

For Mac OS Devices:

1. Go to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.

2. Search for the WiFi network name and double-click on it.

3. Check the box 'Show password' and enter your Mac's administrator credentials to view the saved WiFi password.

For Android Devices:

1. You will need a file manager app that can access root folders.

2. Navigate to data/misc/wifi folder and look for a file named 'wpa_supplicant.conf'.

3. Open the file using a text editor and you'll find a list of saved WiFi networks along with their passwords.

Remember, it's important to secure this information as it grants access to your WiFi network. Avoid sharing these passwords with unauthorized individuals and consider using a password manager to store and manage your passwords securely.
