How to Reset Password on Galaxy S9?
Forgetting the password to your Samsung Galaxy S9 can be frustrating, but don’t worry, there are steps you can take to reset it:
- Go to the lock screen and enter an incorrect password several times until you see the ‘Forgot Password’ or ‘Forgot Pattern’ option.
- Tap on that option and enter your Samsung account credentials to unlock your phone.
- If you don’t have a Samsung account linked to your device, you may need to perform a factory reset. This will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up important files.
- To perform a factory reset, power off your device, then press and hold the Volume Up button and the Bixby button, then press and hold the Power button. Once the Samsung logo appears, release all buttons. Navigate using the Volume buttons and select ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ using the Power button.
- Confirm the reset by selecting ‘Yes’ and the process will begin. Once completed, reboot your device.
Remember to set a new password that you can easily remember to avoid this situation in the future!
