Resetting Your Cox Gateway Password

If you are a Cox Communications customer and need to reset your Cox gateway password, follow these steps:

1. Open a web browser and enter '192.168.0.1' in the address bar.
2. Enter your username and password. If you haven't changed it, the default username is 'admin' and the default password is 'password'.
3. Navigate to the 'Gateway' tab and select 'Connection' from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down and click on 'Change Password'.
5. Enter your current password, then create and confirm your new password.
6. Click 'Save Settings' to apply the changes.

Remember to choose a strong, unique password to enhance the security of your Cox gateway.
