Many of us have been there - you're connected to WiFi on your device, but you can't remember the password. It can be frustrating, especially when you need to connect another device or share it with a guest. So, how can you find the password for the WiFi you're connected to?
One common way is to check the WiFi router itself. Most routers have a sticker on the back or bottom that displays the default WiFi network name and password. If you or someone in your household changed the default password, you can still access the router settings to view or change the password.
Alternatively, if you're using a Windows PC that's connected to the WiFi network, you can find the password by going to the Network and Sharing Center, clicking on the WiFi network name, and selecting 'Wireless Properties.' Under the Security tab, check the box that says 'Show characters' to reveal the WiFi password.
For Mac users, you can find the WiFi password by opening the 'Keychain Access' app, searching for the WiFi network name, and checking the box to show the password.
If all else fails, you can contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance. They should be able to help you retrieve or reset the WiFi password for your network.
