How to Find Router Password on Windows 10

It is common to forget the router password, especially with the numerous passwords we have to remember. If you are using Windows 10 and need to find your router password, follow these steps:

  1. Open Command Prompt by searching for it in the Windows search bar.
  2. Type 'ipconfig' in the Command Prompt and press Enter.
  3. Look for the 'Default Gateway' under the network adapter you are using (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). It will be a series of numbers like 192.168.1.1.
  4. Open a web browser and enter the Default Gateway in the address bar.
  5. Enter your router's username and password. If you haven't changed them, the default login details are often found on the back of the router.
  6. Once logged in, navigate to the Wireless or Wi-Fi settings to view or change your network password.

Remember to write down your router password in a secure place or consider using a password manager to store it securely.
