How to Retrieve a Connected WiFi Password
Need to find out the password for a WiFi network you're already connected to?
Forgetting a saved WiFi password can be quite frustrating, especially when you need it to connect other devices. However, there are ways you can retrieve the password on different devices.
On Windows:
1. Go to Start, then Settings.
2. Select Network & Internet.
3. Under Status, click on Network and Sharing Center.
4. Click on the connected WiFi network.
5. Select Wireless Properties.
6. Go to the Security tab and check the box 'Show characters' to reveal the password.
On Mac:
1. Go to Applications → Utilities → Keychain Access.
2. In Keychain Access, search for your WiFi network's name.
3. Double click on the WiFi network and check the box 'Show password' after entering your Mac's username and password.
On Mobile Devices:
Unfortunately, retrieving a WiFi password on a connected Android or iOS device is not straightforward due to security reasons. You may need to have root access on Android or jailbreak your iPhone to view saved WiFi passwords.
If you are unable to retrieve the password using these methods, it's recommended to contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance.
