Removing Windows XP Startup Password
Having a startup password on your Windows XP computer can be a hassle, especially if you're the only user and don't need that level of security. Here's how you can remove the startup password:
- Click 'Start' and then 'Run'.
- Type 'control userpasswords2' and press Enter.
- Uncheck the box that says 'Users must enter a username and password to use this computer'.
- Click 'Apply' and enter your current password.
- Click 'OK' and restart your computer.
Once you complete these steps, your Windows XP computer should no longer require a password to log in at startup.
